Bruc Management is a investment fund manager specialising in the renewable energy infrastructure sector. We currently invests in solar photovoltaic assets in Spain and Japan. Bruc’s main objective is to originate investment opportunities that imply attractive returns by generating value through a disciplined approach and selective investment criteria.
The main shareholders of Bruc are its own management, led by Juan Béjar, Macquarie Capital and OPTrust.
Bruc considers that an energy transition towards a decarbonized economy is urgently required. Part of this transition rests on the development of clean energy, with growing contribution from this sector to the energy mix. The mission of Bruc is to generate attractive investment opportunities in the renewable energy industry with the aim of contributing to the sustainability of energy supply systems and to significantly reduce their environmental impact.

Bruc is managing solar photovoltaic assets under development, construction and operation, both in Spain and Japan, with more than 972MW and 70MW respectively.
Bruc is currently managing investments in Spain and Japan and is able to invest across OECD countries. Outside the OECD, Bruc can selectively invest in other countries in Europe, Central America and South America.
Bruc has a multidisciplinary team with a combination of development, technical industrial knowledge and financial capabilities that promote the creation of attractive investments opportunities for its investors.
Photovoltaic solar energy assets
Graduate in Law and Business at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas of Madrid (ICADE). Juan Béjar is current CEO of Bruc Management, a company created together with international investors with the aim of managing a portfolio of assets within the renewable energies industry.
Until July 2015, Juan was Executive Vice-President and CEO of FCC (Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas), where he led the organizational and financial restructuring of the infrastructure, environmental services and water divisions. During his management period, investors such as Bill Gates, George Soros and Carlos Slim joined the company.
Previously Juan was CEO of Cementos Portland Valderribas and Globalvia Infraestructuras and President of Citigroup Infrastructure Management, an infrastructure investment fund with headquarters in London with €3.4bn of AuM.
An important period of his professional career was at Grupo Ferrovial as CEO of Ferrovial Infraestructuras and Executive Vice-President and CEO of Cintra. Juan led the acquisition of British Airport Authority (BAA), the biggest operation performed by a Spanish company in the UK, as well as the IPO of Cintra.
Juan is currently CEO of Globalvia, Senior Advisor of Greenhill and Member of the Board of Metrovacesa.
Graduate in Business Administration at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas of Madrid (ICADE E2). Luis joined Bruc since its creation. Luis is the Managing Director of Bruc.
He has an experienced professional career in the energy and infrastructures industry, especially covering financial analysis and structuring of renewable energy projects.
He started his career at PwC during 7 years in the department of Transaction Services and M&A. Prior to joining Bruc, Luis was Head of Investors Management at Abengoa, where he led the design and execution of international operations through the creation of different investment vehicles and the incorporation of financial partners to energy and infrastructure assets of the company.
Luciana is graduated in Economics at PUC-SP University in Brazil. She is a financial professional with more than 10 years of experience in the energy industry. Luciana worked in the M&A, financing, and business development departments of Abengoa. She is part of the Bruc team since its inception.
Graduate in Business Administration at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas of Madrid (ICADE E2). Alberto joined Bruc in 2016.
He has +7 years experience in the financial industry as a Corporate Finance Associate in KPMG, participating in M&A transactions.
Prior to KPMG, Alberto was Equity Research Analyst at Banco BPI.
Graduate in Business Administration at Universidad de la Rioja with a Masters Degree at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas of Madrid (ICADE). Eva joined Bruc 2018 leading the Financial Controlling department.
She started her career as an Analyst at Caja Rural de Navarra and afterwards as Financial Controller at Santalucia Seguros.
Prior to joining Bruc Eva was a Risk and Management Analyst at Aareal Bank AG.
Graduate in Law and Business Administration at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas of Madrid (ICADE E3). Antonio joined Bruc in 2018.
He started his career with financial internships at J.P. Morgan and Hispania Activos Inmobiliarios SOCIMI.
Prior to joining Bruc Antonio was a Corporate Finance Analyst at Colliers International (formerly Irea Corporate Finance), focusing on M&A and restructuring operations in the Real Estate industry.
Graduate in Public Administration, International Finance and Economic Policy at Columbia University in New York. Hiromitsu joined Bruc in 2017 as a Country Manager in the Japan office, where he leads the management of 60MW in the Asian country.
He has a +15 years experience in business management and entrepreneurship as he has founded many start-ups in different sectors.
